Architectural Project Designer Level 2

Pivot North Architecture is a full‑service architectural and interior design firm offering comprehensive and scalable design services to residential, institutional, and commercial clients. We are looking for an Architectural Project Designer Level 2 to join our collaborative team. The successful candidate will support architects and designers by producing and coordinating project design deliverables for a variety of project types, including healthcare, education, residential, multi‑family, and commercial projects. Responsibilities Investigate, evaluate, and recommend design solutions. Develop contractual deliverables and provide professional architectural support for the planning, design, and coordination of large, complex projects. Facilitate and recommend approaches related to architectural design problems, including developing new or improved techniques and procedures. Assist or lead the design team in construction administration based on experience. Utilize BIM to prepare and modify architectural documents, coordinate design intent, and represent the firm’s values through communication and professionalism. Perform building code and accessibility application research. Perform technical research and support product/material selection. Maintain multiple project schedules, meeting deadlines and quality standards. Qualifications Professional bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture from a NAAB‑accredited university. Six or more years of professional experience, with knowledge of sustainable design concepts integrated into projects. Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience in commercial, healthcare, residential, multi‑family, or mixed‑use projects. Intermediate knowledge of architectural building systems. Strong organizational and time‑management skills; ability to multi‑task under pressure. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to read and interpret contracts, construction drawings, and specification manuals. Commitment to design excellence, client service, collaboration, honesty, integrity, and quality of work.
