ABOUT METROCREST SERVICES Metrocrest Services provides hope and builds pathways to economic mobility for neighbors across the north Dallas area. We operate a whole-household, Social Determinants of Health (SDOH)-aligned model organized around five pillars: Income, Health & Food, Workforce, Education/Training, and Housing. We call the people we serve “Neighbors” because they are members of our community, not cases to be managed, and every team member is expected to bring dignity, curiosity, and a whole-household perspective to their work. THE OPPORTUNITY The Director of Social & Strategic Impact leads Metrocrest's strategy for helping neighbors achieve lasting economic mobility across the interconnected areas of income, housing, workforce, and education. They guide a team of domain experts, ensuring each program delivers high-quality, neighbor-centered services while working together as one coordinated system rather than isolated programs. By combining strategic leadership, data-informed decision making, strong community partnerships, and a deep understanding of Social Determinants of Health (SDOH), the Director of Social & Strategic Impact will strengthen programs, remove barriers, and create pathways that help neighbors build long-term stability and independence. This role primarily works 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional evenings and weekends based on program needs. Requirements WHAT YOU'LL DO Lead and develop a team of program managers and subject matter experts across Workforce, Housing, Education, and Financial Capability Create and execute strategic initiatives that strengthen Metrocrest's whole-household service model Oversee program performance, quality, budgets, and measurable outcomes across multiple departments Develop and monitor program evaluation frameworks, KPIs, and data-driven improvement strategies Build and strengthen partnerships with community organizations, funders, employers, and public agencies Collaborate across departments to ensure seamless neighbor experiences and coordinated service delivery Identify barriers to neighbor success and implement innovative solutions that improve long-term economic mobility Ensure compliance with grant requirements, reporting standards, and applicable regulations Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on program effectiveness, community needs, and emerging opportunities WHO YOU ARE A strategic thinker who enjoys turning vision into action Passionate about helping people achieve long-term stability through systems that work together A collaborative leader who builds trust, develops others, and creates accountability Comfortable using data to make decisions and improve outcomes An innovative problem-solver who embraces change and continuous improvement Able to balance big-picture strategy with operational excellence Committed to Metrocrest's Neighbor-First philosophy and mission of empowering individuals toward self-sufficiency WHAT YOU BRING Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, Human Services, or related field Minimum five years of supervisory experience in program development and management Demonstrated experience managing multi-program portfolios across at least two of the following domains: housing stability, workforce development, financial capability, or education/training Minimum five years’ experience developing and executing a program evaluation framework including KPIs to assess the program strengths and gaps High level of computer literacy including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), internet research, and Salesforce or comparable client tracking system PREFERRED Master's in Social Work (MSW) or Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) Graduate degree or advanced certification in Public Administration, Nonprofit Leadership, or a related field Supervisory experience in a social service or nonprofit setting spanning multiple program areas Experience with SDOH-aligned program models, mobility models, asset-building and benefit screening tools, specifically with whole-household frameworks Demonstrated experience building and managing community partner pipelines, MOUs, and co-location arrangements Experience with grant reporting, funder compliance, and program evaluation frameworks WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS This role works onsite in a climate-controlled facility Ability to move, transport, position, and lift up to 15 pounds as needed Ability to remain in a stationary position, such as standing or sitting, for up to 8 hours per day Ability to walk, move, and/or traverse as needed WHY METROCREST SERVICES Join an organization in an exciting season of transformation as we continue building a whole-household model that puts neighbors at the center of everything we do. SALARY Salary for this FLSA-exempt position is commensurate with experience.
