Data Conversion Lead

Salary: $156,000 - 166,400 per year Requirements:

• 8–12 years of experience in data migration or data conversion roles
• Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL concepts, and relational database management systems (RDBMS)
• Hands-on experience with SQL and database tools
• Proven experience leading data conversion activities for enterprise systems
• Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills

• Lead and manage the data conversion strategy, approach, and execution
• Analyze source and target data models and define data mapping and transformation rules
• Coordinate data extraction, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation
• Work with business teams to understand data requirements and usage
• Oversee the development and execution of data conversion scripts and tools
• Validate converted data through reconciliation, balancing, and exception analysis
• Identify, track, and proactively resolve data issues and risks
• Support mock conversions, system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and go-live cutover activities
• Ensure compliance with data governance, audit, and regulatory standards

We offer a Data Conversion Lead role supporting large-scale system implementations and transformations. The role focuses on migrating legacy-system data into target systems while maintaining data integrity, quality, and compliance, in coordination with business stakeholders, application teams, architects, and vendors. The pay range is $75–$80 per hour.
