This role is essential to maintaining a smooth kitchen operation, upholding sanitation standards, and supporting food safety and guest satisfaction in a fast-paced environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment Operate and maintain dishwashing equipment according to safety and sanitation guidelines Keep dish, prep, and kitchen areas clean, organized, and stocked Assist with trash and recycling removal and proper disposal Support kitchen team with basic cleaning, restocking, and prep assistance as needed Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures Clean floors, mats, walls, and work surfaces as assigned Assist with opening, closing, and side work duties Support other kitchen stations during peak times when needed Other duties as assigned Success Measures Dishes and kitchen equipment are consistently clean, sanitized, and ready for use Dish area remains organized, stocked, and compliant with safety standards Works well with kitchen teammates and follows direction Contributes to a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment Qualifications Previous dishwasher or kitchen experience preferred but not required Knowledge of basic sanitation and safety practices in a kitchen environment Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs Strong work ethic with attention to cleanliness and detail Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays during peak season Food handler certification preferred but not required #J-18808-Ljbffr
