Sr. Provider Relations Lead, Southern California

Senior Provider Relations Lead Driving measurable outcomes across quality, cost, utilization, access, and regulatory performance while serving as the primary senior liaison between SCAN and provider leadership. Responsibilities Provide strategic performance governance and executive-level relationship management for high‑complexity provider groups within an assigned geographic region. Identify performance trends across markets and ensure consistent execution of provider performance initiatives. Lead complex performance reviews and executive-level governance forums, translating multi‑dimensional data into actionable improvement plans. Partner cross‑functionally with Contracting, Network Operations, Clinical, Quality, Analytics, and Growth teams to align enterprise strategies and coordinate provider initiatives. Analyze provider-level performance data, develop, implement, and monitor corrective action plans with defined milestones and governance oversight. Investigate and resolve high‑impact escalations, conduct root‑cause analysis, and implement sustainable process improvements. Support strategic contracting and provider partnership efforts, aligning operational readiness, performance expectations, and governance frameworks. Coach and mentor Provider Relations Leads to strengthen performance management capability and consistency of engagement practices. Ensure provider alignment with regulatory, contractual, and compliance standards, proactively addressing risks. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance provider experience, operational efficiency, and performance accountability. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. 7+ years of relevant healthcare or Medicare Advantage experience. Experience working with delegated or risk‑based provider arrangements. Experience leading cross‑functional initiatives. Experience presenting to executive provider leadership. Experience managing complex provider relationships. Demonstrated performance improvement leadership. Advanced technical skills and problem‑solving abilities aligned to functional strategy. Ability to partner across a variety of functions throughout the enterprise. Advanced experience developing relationships with all provider types. Benefits Base Pay Range: $80,300 - $138,330 per year.
