Overview Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport and LSU Health Sciences Center at Shreveport seek a General OB/Gyn Physician to join our team in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Saint Mary’s Medical Center in Shreveport. The hospital has new and state-of-the-art operating rooms, Level IV L&D and Level III NICU, recently renovated spacious faculty offices. L&D is covered by two nocturnists on weekdays and part of the weekend. Our specialists on-site include fellowship-trained faculty in MFM and Urogynecology, in addition to offering Adolescent Gynecology and Minimally Invasive Services. Our team consists of both academic and clinical faculty, with a 28 resident program complement. Shreveport is the third most populous city in Louisiana after New Orleans and Baton Rouge, located in Northwest Louisiana with a population of 393,406. Shreveport is part of the I-20 Cyber Corridor linking the tech-centered Dallas–Fort Worth, Shreveport–Bossier, Greater Monroe, and Greater Atlanta metropolitan areas. The city is 188 miles from Dallas, 215 miles from Little Rock, and 250 miles from Baton Rouge. It serves as a regional hub for North Louisiana and the Ark-La-Tex region.
