Locums Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work as a Locum Tenens in a well-established Primary Care practice in south central Washington State. This is an immediate and ongoing assignment providing comprehensive care to patients of all ages. This opportunity offers a flexible four-day workweek with no call responsibilities.

The ideal provider would need to be comfortable practicing independently in an outpatient setting and enjoys caring for a diverse patient population.

Position Details

Assignment Type: Ongoing Locums Coverage

Start Date: Immediate

Schedule: 4 days per week

Hours: 32 hours per week

Call Requirements: None

Patient Population: All ages

Compensation: $70–$85 per hour

Responsibilities

Provide outpatient primary care services to patients across the lifespan

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic medical conditions

Conduct preventive care visits, wellness exams, and follow-up appointments

Educate patients and families on treatment plans and health maintenance

Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation

Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary care teams across both practice locations

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program

Active Washington State license required

Board Certification required

Experience in primary care or family medicine preferred

Strong communication and patient management skills

Ability to work independently
