Insurance Verification Specialist Location: McKinney, TX (In-Person) Job Type: Full-Time Starting at $18.00 per hour Next STEPS Worldwide is a leading and rapidly expanding outpatient clinic providing holistic psychological, therapeutic, and nutrition services across all age groups. We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Insurance Verification Specialist to join our billing department. This role is essential in supporting business operations through timely insurance verifications and accurate account monitoring. Key Responsibilities Verify insurance benefits and accurately document patient financial responsibility in the EMR system Ensure completeness and accuracy of all insurance data prior to client intake Track and document payer-specific requirements and communicate updates to the team Coordinate with intake and billing departments on demographic and insurance issuesRespond to incoming calls professionally and assist with insurance-related inquiries Provide ongoing support to the billing department as needed Complete and report on all VOB (Verification of Benefits) requests daily Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (required) At least 1 year of experience in insurance verification (preferred) Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Familiarity with in-network payers and related tools Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset Schedule Monday to Friday Full-Time, In-Person Compensation & Benefits Pay: From $18.00 per hour Benefits Include: 401(k) with employer matching Health, Dental, and Vision insurance Life insurance Paid time off Apply now to join a mission-driven organization that is committed to healing the world—one client at a time. #J-18808-Ljbffr
