Healthcare Plus Homemakers is a trusted home healthcare agency dedicated to serving individuals age 59 and under with disabilities across the state of Illinois. We are passionate in-home care that empowers our clients to live safely and comfortably in their homes. At the heart of everything we do our caregivers are people who bring kindness, dignity, and support into the lives of others every single day. We recognize the impact of their work and are proud to provide a supportive environment where they feel valued, respected, and inspired to make a meaningful difference. What you'll do As a Homemaker, you will help clients with daily tasks that allow them to live safely and comfortably in their homes. Responsibilities include:
- Light housekeeping
- Laundry
- Grocery shopping
- Meal preparation
- Assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming
- Light lifting and transferring when needed
- Providing respectful, compassionate companionship
No medical experience is required. We're looking for people who are dependable, patient, caring.
Key qualities include:
- Compassion and respect for clients
- Strong communication
- Patience and empathy
- Good organization and time management
- Flexibility and a positive attitude
- Bilingual
- Valid ID or Driver license
- Social Security card
- High school diploma or GED
- No diploma or GED? A substitute form in available
