We are seeking a dedicated Labor & Employment Attorney to join our Sacramento team.This is an outstanding opportunity for an attorney who thrives on meaningful work, values collaboration, and wants to make a lasting impact on communities throughout California. Whether you bring a few years of experience or are a seasoned attorney, we are looking for individuals with a passion for public agency work and a solid foundation in employment law.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Advise public agency clients on personnel matters including hiring, discipline, and termination.

Handle matters related to discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and employee leave laws.

Represent clients in administrative hearings, grievance arbitrations, and collective bargaining negotiations.

Assist clients with labor compliance, policy development, and internal investigations.

Collaborate with colleagues across multiple offices on complex, high-impact cases.

Qualifications:

Strong interest and/or experience working with public agencies or school districts.

Knowledge of California labor and employment laws.

Excellent legal writing, research, and analytical skills.

Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment with a “no jerks” culture.
