Key Responsibilities

As the Senior Quality Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in elevating product quality, fostering manufacturing operations, and steering continuous improvement projects within the facility. Your duties will include:

• Lead and guide the Quality Engineering and Quality Technician team.
• Determine improvement opportunities using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, SPC, and statistical analysis.
• Examine quality problems through Root Cause Analysis, 8D, 5 Why, and corrective/preventive action methods.
• Assist manufacturing by pinpointing opportunities to minimize defects and enhance process capability.
• Collaborate with suppliers to enhance supplier quality and rectify production issues.
• Manage supplier PPAP approvals and supplier quality initiatives.
• Oversee ISO 9001 quality system compliance and internal quality projects.
• Analyze manufacturing and supplier data to identify patterns and improvement opportunities.
• Develop quality metrics and present discoveries to leadership.
• Support new product introductions and enhance manufacturing processes.
• Counsel and cultivate quality staff while fostering a culture of operational excellence.

Requirements

We are seeking individuals who possess:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
• 5+ years of Quality Engineering experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Prior leadership or managerial experience.
• Statistical Process Control (SPC)
• Six Sigma methodologies
• Root Cause Analysis
• 8D Problem Solving
• PPAP
• Supplier Quality
• ISO 9001
• Proficiency in Minitab, Excel, and other quality assessment tools.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and leadership capabilities.

Desired Qualifications

• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
• Certified Supplier Quality Professional (CSQP)
• Certified Quality Auditor (CQA)
• Master's Degree in Engineering
• Experience with GD&T, tolerance analysis, and mistake-proofing (Poka-Yoke)

Compensation
