About This Role

We are looking for a dedicated and energetic After School Age Teacher to join our team in Burnet, TX. In this role, you will create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for school-aged children during afternoon hours. You will oversee recreational activities, assist with homework, and foster positive social interactions, ensuring a seamless transition from the school day to after-school care.

What You'll Do

• Lead and supervise daily after-school activities, outdoor play, and educational games for school-aged children.
• Assist students with homework assignments and provide academic guidance when needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment adhering to licensing standards.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's daily progress and behavior.
• Implement positive behavior management techniques to encourage teamwork and respect among students.

You will be required to pick up the students from the Elementary school

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

AT least 21 years of age and able to drive the school van with a clean driving record

• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with school-aged children in a licensed childcare, camp, or school setting.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and fingerprinting required by the state of Texas.
• CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain it within the first 30 days of employment.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
