RID Sales Analyst

JOB SUMMARY:

Position is responsible for tracking, monitoring, and making changes to pricing and item information across entire sales division or divisions. Will manage integrity of all item data to ensure pricing and supplier chargebacks are accurate. Assist Sales and Commercial Finance department with various data systems. Look for ways to increase and maximize sales gross profit. Maintain various monthly reports to measure company performance and track divisional workloads. .


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Assist with integration of new internal systems, to include troubleshooting issues as they arise as well as helping to develop new processes
• Manage supplier accounts and generate supplier invoices for price support, etc.
• Administer sales system including: creating and/or running reports, creating and/or cascading goals, account and territory management, staff training, etc.
• Distribute monthly sales reports from internal and external sources, ensuring data integrity and ease of use, align brands with suppliers
• Prepare commercial analysis that recaps business performance by trade channel and sales inputs
• Classify accounts based on volume and/or revenues
• Create daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly pricing reports and analysis
• Run standard and ad hoc reports for business and supplier needs
• Identify potential brand risks and opportunities
• Recap performance goals, and volume goals
• Perform maintenance of data dimensions and routine updating of tracking tools to promote accuracy and accountability
• Perform other duties as assigned

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

Required:

• Bachelor's Degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field

• Expert in Excel with regards to Data Management, Reporting, and Data Analysis

Preferred Skills

• Proficient at calculating percentages, gross profit, and reviewing comparative sales data for analysis
• Must maintain strong working knowledge of portfolio and products
• Impeccable organization and time management skills to handle multiple projects successfully
• Ability to quickly learn various business solutions programs (e.g., Diver, Encompass ERP)
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, vendors

MENTAL AND VISUAL REQUIREMENTS:

Close mental and visual attention required to perform work dealing primarily with preparing and analyzing data and figures, performing accounting work, using a computer terminal, AND/OR extensive reading.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to position self to access objects such as filing cabinets, ability to remain stationary for extended periods of time, and ability to operate office machinery such as a computer or telephone, ability to communicate effectively and ability to do repetitive motions. The job is mostly sedentary.
