9-1-1 Emergency Communications Dispatcher

City of Houston

The City of Houston is seeking an Emergency Telecommunicator to manage 9-1-1 calls effectively within the Houston Emergency Center. The candidate will be responsible for prioritizing emergencies and utilizing electronic systems for call management. Successful applicants must hold a high school diploma or GED, have at least one year of relevant experience, and pass city-administered tests. Bilingual skills in Spanish are preferred.
