This role manages cross-functional projects, oversees solution design and implementation, and ensures high-quality delivery of client and internal solutions. The Manager serves as a strategic liaison between business stakeholders, clients, and technical teams to drive operational excellence, innovation, and measurable business outcomes.Duties and responsibilities, as they align to Ryan’s Key ResultsPeople:Creates a positive, accountable, and collaborative team environment aligned with Ryan’s core values.Leads, mentors, and develops professionals to ensure high performance and continuous growth.Manages resource allocation, workload distribution, and performance management.Promotes cross-functional collaboration across practices, technology teams, and external partners.Provides coaching on project management methodologies, systems, and best practices.Client:Serves as a primary point of contact for internal and/or external stakeholders.Leads project scoping, planning, execution, and delivery to ensure alignment with business objectives.Develops and manages project workplans, timelines, budgets, and resource plans.Proactively communicates project status, risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.Ensures deliverables meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations.Supports business development activities, including proposal development, solution design, and client presentations, as applicable.Manages financial aspects of projects, including forecasting, billing oversight, and cost controls.Value:Leads implementation and optimization of technology-enabled business solutions, including system configuration, data management, automation, and process transformation initiatives.Oversees requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.Identifies opportunities to improve processes, enhance operational efficiency, and drive innovation.Establishes and maintains project governance standards, communication plans, and escalation protocols.Ensures data integrity, system reliability, and compliance with Firm standards and regulatory requirements.Develops training materials, documentation, and change management plans to support adoption of new systems and processes.Drives continuous improvement initiatives that create measurable value for the Firm and its clients.Education and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience.Minimum of 5–7 years of experience leading projects, managing business solutions, or delivering technology-enabled services.Experience in consulting, implementation, enterprise systems, data management, process improvement, or tax-related environments preferred.Demonstrated success managing multiple concurrent initiatives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.Computer Skills:Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Experience working with enterprise systems, databases, reporting tools, project management platforms, or business applications.Familiarity with project management tools and collaboration platforms preferred.Required Skills:Strong project and program management capabilitiesExcellent written, verbal, and executive-level communication skillsAbility to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholdersStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage ambiguity and drive structured solutionsFinancial and operational acumenAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesPreferred Skills:Experience implementing enterprise software or automation solutionsExposure to ERP systems or large-scale business platformsExperience with data analysis, reporting, or data transformation initiativesKnowledge of tax, accounting, or regulatory environmentsExperience leading digital transformation or process automation initiativesFamiliarity with Agile, Scrum, Lean, or other structured project methodologiesCertificates and Licenses:Professional certifications such as PMP, Agile/Scrum certifications, Lean/Six Sigma, CPA, or other relevant industry credentials are preferred.Valid driver’s license may be required, depending on role assignment.Supervisory Responsibilities:This position may directly supervise team members and carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Firm policies and applicable laws.Compensation Pay Transparency:For certain California based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $126,000.00 - $171,050.00For other California based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $115,500.00 - $156,475.00For Colorado based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $110,500.00 - $149,600.00For Illinois based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $115,500.00 - $156,475.00For other Illinois based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $110,500.00 -
