Join FAVOR MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in Bel Air, MD, where you'll play a crucial role in providing compassionate mental health care. - Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications with a focus on patient safety.
- Provide psychotherapy and counseling services to individuals and groups.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and families on mental health conditions and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and care.
- Master's degree in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric/Mental Health.
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Maryland.
- Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
- At least 2 years of experience in a psychiatric or mental health setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
- Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
