Registered Nurse (RN)
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Emergency Room (ER) settings to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment and assist in the timely and effective management of patient needs.
Shift Details
- 12-hour Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- 36-hour guarantee per week
- Every other weekend and holiday availability required
Orientation and Training
An 8-hour non-billable orientation is mandatory before commencing the assignment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room.
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions and vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient care accurately and promptly.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of current experience in an Emergency Department required.
- Completion of a Basic Dysrhythmia course is strongly required.
- All necessary certifications must be held at the time of profile upload, including:
- Active Massachusetts RN License
- Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Active American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Active Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
- Active American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Experience with Meditech Expanse is strongly preferred.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation for the assignment.
- Perm address must be included in the profile.
Additional Notes
- Block scheduling is not available for this position.
- Requests for time off must be noted in the profile at the time of submission; no more than five days will be accepted.
- Travelers must be reachable and have voicemail set up on their phones.
