You are accountable for safety, schedule, cost control, and field coordination.This role ensures contractors and internal partners deliver work that meets Switch standards for quality and compliance. You are expected to be onsite daily and actively present in the field.What Youll DoLead onsite construction execution for assigned data center projectsMonitor contractor safety performance and enforce site safety standardsConduct regular site walks to identify risks, quality issues, and corrective actionsManage project schedules and address delays before they affect milestonesTrack project costs and support cost control with contractors and internal teamsCoordinate with design, engineering, operations, networking, security, controls, supply chain, and commissioning partnersProvide constructability input during design and active constructionSupport logistics planning and equipment deliveriesIdentify project risks early and implement mitigation plansEnsure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and permitsDeliver accurate weekly and monthly project updates to leadershipPartner with the Senior Construction Manager to support site execution and reportingWhat Were Looking ForCommunicates clearly and directly, without leaving out key detailsPlans ahead and focuses on risk preventionFollows through on commitments and meets deadlinesWorks independently while coordinating across multiple teamsStays calm and practical when resolving field issuesMaintains organized schedules, documentation, and reportingBrings solutions forward and supports team successWhat Youll BringRequired:5+ years of experience in data center construction or complex commercial constructionWorking knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and field coordinationExperience managing schedules, budgets, and contractor performanceAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and specificationsProficiency in Microsoft OfficeExperience using construction management software such as ProcorePreferred:Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related fieldFamiliarity with critical data center systems and infrastructureExposure to CAD or 3D modeling toolsThis role is fully onsite in Austin, TX.Work occurs in active construction environments and requires appropriate personal protective equipment.
