Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: October 26, 2026

Location: Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio. Every other weekend required. Self-scheduling model. Possible floating to sister campus location.

Highlights:

• High-volume Emergency Department with 46 treatment rooms and average daily census of 135 patients
• Full-spectrum patient population from infants through geriatrics
• Epic electronic health record system with Pyxis medication management and SBAR communication protocols
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and radiology
• No on-call requirements; maximum 7 days requested time off per contract
• Orientation provided with specialty-specific modules; local candidates accepted at same rate

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required; previous travel nursing experience required
• Current Georgia or Compact state RN license required at time of submission
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
• Epic charting system experience required
• Demonstrated competency in general emergency department skills including adult and pediatric patient care, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, ventilated patient care, central line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, IV vasopressor administration, triage, and isolation precautions
• Full compliance documentation must be completed prior to start date; delayed compliance results in 2-week push back due to bi-weekly orientation schedule
• All requested time off must be finalized at time of submission; no schedule changes permitted post-offer or after onboarding
