Maintenance Technician

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join a local manufacturing team. This position is responsible for machine repairs, fabrication projects, and preventive maintenance activities in a fast-paced production environment.
If you have strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and experience working with industrial equipment, we want to hear from you!
Shift: Saturday to Monday 7am-7pm
Responsibilities
- Complete preventive maintenance activities scheduled through CMMS
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment
- Perform machine repairs and maintenance on production equipment
- Operate machining equipment including lathes, mills, drill presses, and band saws
- Complete welding and fabrication projects
- Accurately document maintenance activities in CMMS
- Maintain housekeeping and 5S standards in maintenance areas
- Follow all company safety, health, and environmental procedures
- Assist with additional maintenance projects as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Technical certification OR minimum of 2 years related maintenance experience preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Basic electrical and mechanical repair knowledge
- Welding and fabrication experience a plus
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Certifications
- Forklift (Hilo) operator certification
- Scissor lift certification
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout shift
- Regular lifting up to 20 lbs
- Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs
- Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, and crouch as needed
