Travel Nurse RN - Cardiac Cath Lab - $2,784 per week

Trustaff is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Portsmouth, Virginia.

Job Description & Requirements

• 40 hours per week
• Shift: 8 hours, days
• Employment Type: Travel

Monday-Friday and take at least 14 days of call per month (call can include weekends)

2 years of recent Cath lab experience required
Will circulate
if candidates have EP experiences, that is a big bonus (but not required)
Locals are not accepted (within 50 miles of facility)
Dysrhythmia exam (study guide located in Simplify library)

BLS, ACLS, NIH
Orientation Calendar: B for VA (we do have several orientations for June 6/1, 6/8, & 6/15)

*manager is reviewing/ interviewing candidates after the clinical interview- this may delay an offer*

Unit Specific Details:
3-4 rooms (Cath, Vascular, EP and hybrid)
GE Machines; 1 lab is Siemens (Vascular)
Generally, 4-8 Caths a day (will add on as needed, have done 12-16 with 2 cath rooms running but this is rare)
generally see diagnostic and interventional cases

Cardiac Cath lab assisting cardiologist and cardiovascular physicians with catheter based cardiac and vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures. 

Lab has balloon pump, Impella, IVUS, iFR/FFR and perform TAVR, PFO closures, Watchman, EKO's, and do atherectomy with CSI, RotaPro and laser; in addition to angiography and balloon/stenting
