Material Supply Specialist II

Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments.We’relookinga responsible for supporting shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material distribution operations to ensure the efficient flow of goods throughout the organization. Receives, inspects, and verifies incoming materials against purchase orders and invoices,maintainsaccurateinventory records, andidentifiesdiscrepancies or damaged items. Prepares, packages, and ships outbound orders whilemaintainingshipping documentation and records. Safely handles and stores materials, including operating material handling equipment such as forklifts whenrequired. Supports inventory management, production operations, and assembly processes by stocking manufacturing lines and preparing kitting packages to meet production schedules and operational requirements Whatyou’llown Performs assignments within assigned production area to complete ordering/ staging inventory for production operators andoperateaforklift/ box van/ other large machinesto transport material.Assistswith shipping/ receivingduties to include verifying shipment, scheduling purchase orders, and adjustments to inventoried items (consolidating locations, destruction of inactive stock, pulling samples, packaging, etc.). Demonstrates ability toidentifyroutine shipping/ delivery discrepancies for internal customers. Troubleshoots routine production and inventory issues. Recognizes and reports inventory discrepancies and reconcile each work order tomaintainsystem/ inventory integrity. Assistswith production process by occasionallyoperatinga large/ complex production machine in functional area todemonstratea basic knowledge of entire production process todetermineand ensure proper workflow (awareness of Service Level Agreement importance). Maintains a clean,safeand organized work area following the "5S" Program (Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) including Safety and Security, to enable "Just in Time" manufacturing. Coordinates with others to improve overall department audit score. Whatyou’llbring Skills / Knowledge - Has substantial understanding of the job and applies knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks. Job Complexity - Works on assignments that are routine to moderately difficult, requiring somedecisionin resolving issues or in making recommendations. Supervision - Normally receives little instruction on daily work, general instructions on newly introduced assignments. Research Skills - Ability to research complex problems in shipping/delivering and inventory Computer skills - Knowledge in applicable software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, Dynamic) It’sa bonus if you have Experience inExcel.
