Lead- Production - 2nd shift

Principal Duties And Responsibilities Confirms products are manufactured according to company specifications. Observes and monitors production lines and equipment to ensure safe operation. Maintains employee communication and control of production activities. Motivates staff to increase or maintain efficient production levels. Communicates and reports to management when there is variance from regular production activities. Organizes and maintains departmental housekeeping. Follows company safety guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices. Participates in interview processes and makes hiring recommendations. Participates and contributes in annual performance reviews and makes recommendations on pay increases, disciplinary actions. Attends and participates in supervisory meetings. Regular attendance and punctuality is required due to working with people, items and equipment that are at the facility. Job Specifications 2-5 years Food Manufacturing experience is required. English/Spanish bilingual is a plus. Forklift experience is a plus. Working Conditions Refrigerated food manufacturing plant. The environment may be wet or dry and temperatures may range from 25°F to 110°F. Repetitive lifting, kneeling, and bending with packages in excess of 40 lbs.
