Outpatient Physical Therapist

This is a 13-week contract position.

5x8.0-810620: MWF 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM; TR 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

The Outpatient Physical Therapist evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans according to the patients' needs, goals, and physician direction. This position is responsible for the delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services for those assigned patients, ensuring effective functional treatment programs that allow for a successful return to community activities. The therapist serves as an educator for patients, families, students, coworkers, and themselves while upholding professional standards and compliance with the organizational Code of Conduct.

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and create individualized treatment plans.
• Document all patient care and evaluations in a clear and timely manner, adhering to state, federal, and clinic guidelines.
• Provide educational support to patients and their families regarding treatment and recovery processes.
• Participate in student training programs, ensuring a positive learning environment.
• Maintain active professional licensure and pursue ongoing professional development opportunities.

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• Minimum of 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Active and applicable state licensure for Physical Therapy.
