Chancery Litigation Associate - Delaware

About the Role Ballard Spahr LLP is seeking a highly qualified litigation associate with four to six years of experience to join its growing, Chambers‑ranked, Chancery litigation practice in Wilmington, DE. Responsibilities and Qualifications 4 to 6 years of litigation experience. Delaware Chancery Court experience with a focus on shareholder disputes, breach of fiduciary duty claims, and other governance issues. Exposure to commercial litigation and/or securities litigation is a plus. Strong academic credentials and excellent writing and attention to detail. Active bar license in Delaware. Represent clients as lead counsel in Delaware’s Chancery, Superior, and Supreme Court, and in Delaware District Court. Work with a wide range of regional, national, and international clients in complex litigation. Compensation and Benefits The salary range for this position is $250,000 – $305,000. Pay depends on experience, qualifications, and location. Lawyers may be eligible for an incentive bonus program and/or a profit‑sharing bonus program.
