Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating Day/Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required License: Valid compact or state nursing license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Previous telemetry experience Experience with IV insulin protocols and insulin drips Strong cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation skills Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse specialized in Medical/Surgical/Telemetry. This position involves rotating shifts every 4 weeks. Candidates will work the same straight shifts for 4 weeks before rotating to the opposite shift for the next 4 weeks. Travelers with only 1 year of experience will not receive auto offers; their profiles will need to be reviewed by management. Floating within the assigned area is required. Nurses are expected to work every other weekend, specifically Friday and Saturday. The ideal candidate should have skills in the interpretation and management of dysrhythmias. Experience in peripheral line care, oxygen administration, and isolation precautions is necessary. Candidates are required to complete fingerprinting as part of the credentialing process immediately after signing the contract. We welcome local candidates who meet the requirements. References from professional supervisors or managers will be required. Complete the application with a valid nursing license in hand. Education must be from an accredited nursing program.
