This role manages month-end close processes and provides critical analysis to regional and corporate leadership. Key responsibilities include:* Financial Accounting & Reporting: Lead month-end close activities, including ledger account analysis and the preparation of complex journal entries.* Strategic Analysis: Conduct detailed research and internal reporting to provide actionable financial insights for Division and Corporate stakeholders.* Audit & Compliance: Support internal and external audit requirements and execute high-priority ad-hoc projects.* ALABS Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison for shared services (AP, Billing, Fixed Assets), ensuring seamless operational alignment per the RACI matrix.## \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_## ## Are you a MATCH?****Required Qualifications***** Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.* Minimum of 1-2 years financial accounting and/or financial reporting experience.* Demonstrate a solid understanding of general accounting matters and IFRS/GAAP.* Strong 'client service' mindset and ability to work well with internal customers and external parties.* Capable of prioritizing responsibilities on a daily basis to meet required deadlines.* Exhibits customer-focused behavior such as building positive relationships and strives to understand customer's needs, both internal and external.* Ability to handle difficult situations diplomatically and professionally.* Apply analytical skills through critical thinking with an ability to perform creative problem-solving.* Intermediate computer skills (Google Suite, Microsoft Excel).****Preferred Qualifications***** Experience with SAP and/or ERP systems.\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_**Benefits**We care about and support our Airgas Families.
