Registered Nurse Operating Room

This position requires the nurse to provide care in the operating room for various outpatient procedures. Candidates must demonstrate an understanding of infection control and fire safety protocols. Experience with conscious sedation monitoring and specimen handling is crucial. Candidates should be capable of collaborating effectively with peers and other healthcare providers. The nurse will ensure that each patient's protected health information remains confidential. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment and effectively managing interruptions. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to articulate complex medical information to a diverse audience. Only qualified applicants with the requisite experience should apply.

Minimum of 2 years recent relevant experience required. Valid Registered Nurse License. Certifications: ACLS, BLS.

Demonstrated knowledge and competence with nursing theories, concepts, and practices. Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology. Working knowledge of healthcare industry safety policies and patient care best practices. Ability to maintain patient privacy and comply with regulations. Strong written and verbal communication skills to relay sensitive information clearly. Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Electronic Health Records. Ability to prioritize assignments and complete tasks efficiently. Capability to work independently and within a team. Skill in identifying and resolving problems using established options. Experience with outpatient endoscopy procedures.
