Details Work on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a Level II Trauma Center Care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and their families 3x12 day shift schedule with a 36-hour weekly guarantee No on-call requirements Schedule may include weekends, holidays, and occasional call shifts Floating required to other units based on organizational needs and competency level Must pick up one additional shift during the schedule period Uses Epic EMR, with training provided during orientation or option to test out Requirements Active NV RN license required prior to start Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA only) Must pass a telemetry competency exam including identification and measurement of telemetry rhythm strips Minimum 2 years of Med Surg/Tele experience required At least one recent 13-week travel assignment within the past year required prior to consideration Additional Information Provide comprehensive nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation across the care continuum Coordinate care with other professionals and involve family/caregivers in the care process as appropriate Facility may call off shifts (full or partial) without penalty for low census, up to 48 hours per 13-week contract Minimum of 2 major holidays coverage required No blocked scheduling allowed, all assignments are for 13 weeks Requested RTO must be submitted with the application and will not be added to the end of the contract Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility, as local candidates are not accepted A 13-week break is required for returning travelers before starting a new contract at this facility American Traveler Job ID P-771854.
