Senior Level Accountant
Firm seeking a Senior Level Accountant with public accounting experience to join a leading CPA firm in the area. The Accountant will provide assistance and guidance to individuals and businesses in basic tax management, accounting services and also financial services. Responsibilities of Accountant:
- Prepare accounting related entries to numerous registers, journals and logs
- Follow our company's established accounting processes
- Support accounts payable activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness of invoice creation and entry
- Perform monthly bank settlements
- Regularly maintain detailed reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts
- Provide detailed reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts
- Prepare documentation of external auditors
Qualifications of Accountant:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting and 150 college credits.
- 5 years of public accounting experience
- Experience in individual, partnership and corporate tax
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and accounting software
- Highly organized with high attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet deadlines
- CPA preferred or eligible to take the CPA exam.
