Powder Coat Technician
Location: Madison Heights, MI

- Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Overtime required as needed)
- Lift Requirement: Up to 20 lbs.
- Prepare metal parts for powder coating by cleaning, masking, and sanding surfaces.
- Set up and operate powder coating equipment and spray booths.
- Apply powder coatings to meet quality and production standards.
- Inspect finished products for quality, coverage, and finish consistency.
- Perform minor equipment adjustments and basic maintenance as needed.
- Safely move materials throughout the facility using forklifts or other material handling equipment (if certified).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety policies and quality procedures.
- Work with team members to meet daily production goals.
- Previous manufacturing or powder coating experience preferred but not required.
- Experience with industrial painting, powder coating, or automotive finishing is a plus.
- Ability to use hand tools and basic power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Basic math and measuring skills.
- Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
- Reliable transportation and a strong attendance record.
