Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: 1 year of experience Candidates with only 1 year of experience will be reviewed by management. Weekdays and some weekends required, rotating holidays. Floating to different units may be required. Description: This position involves caring for patients in a progressive care unit during night shifts. The role requires managing up to 3 patients per nurse. Charge experience is preferred but not mandatory. Patient care includes management of cardiac telemetry, ventilated patients, and post-lung transplant patients. Skills needed include BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, and interpretation of dysrhythmias. Candidates need to be proficient in IV starting and maintaining, as well as administering medications and therapies. Traveling nurses must comply with credentialing processes and requirements. Candidates must submit references from professionals in a supervisory role. Education must be from an accredited nursing program. All candidates must be aware of compliance deadlines and requirements for background checks. This position may require occasional weekend shifts. Pre-approved time off must be communicated during the application process. Individuals currently employed at the facility are not eligible to apply as travelers. Candidates must have a compact or state nursing license fully valid upon submission.
