Packaging Technician

Position: Packaging Line Tech 1 Responsibilities Adhere to safety and quality standards set by Breckenridge Brewery; complete all required safety trainings. Operate packaging equipment according to the Machine Operations Matrix and assist in 20 machine changeovers per year. Conduct audits: set up machines, run counts, and perform audits every 30 minutes during runs. Perform troubleshooting of equipment and report issues promptly to the Shift Lead, supervisor, or manager. Clean general facilities and operation areas; complete daily and weekly cleaning paperwork. Fill out batch tracking information, end‑of‑run counts of materials, and notate materials left on partial pallets. Read and follow SOPs and alert management to potential quality or safety concerns. Perform additional duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Prior experience in a packaging environment preferred. Ability to carry and lift 50–165lbs, and to work safely in a loud, hot, wet, or chemical‑laden environment. Physical ability to crouch, bend, stoop, and reach; to work on feet for 8 hours or more. Flexible to work day, afternoon, and midnight shifts, including weekends and holidays. Mechanical background preferred. High School Diploma required. Successful completion of pre‑employment background check and driving records.
