Role Overview As an Optometric Assistant, you play a vital role in supporting our optometrists in delivering comprehensive visual and medical eye care. You’ll assist with patient exams, procedures, and follow-ups, ensuring a seamless and compassionate experience for every patient. Your work directly contributes to improving vision health and overall well-being in the communities we serve. What You Will Do Assist the doctor with comprehensive visual and medical eye exams. Perform preliminary testing and support in-office minor medical procedures. Conduct contact lens follow-ups and teach contact lens classes. Enter patient data into electronic medical records. Provide post-exam follow-up and support duties as needed. Qualifications What You Will Need Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Basic math skills. Preferred Qualifications Previous customer service or optometric tech experience. Computer and/or electronic medical records knowledge.
