Field Service Technician - Crushing/Screening Primary Location: Henderson, WA, AU Job posting end date:05/29/2026

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Provide technical liaison services between customers, product divisions and sales personnel. Provide hands on mechanical service work in the field to Metso customers. Perform technical evaluations and analyse equipment and machine component failures. Promote products and services to customers. Promote the sales of OEM spare parts and wears material components. Supervise and oversee Field Service projects on customer sites. Complete field machine inspections per global and customer procedures. Escalate questions and analysis to Technical Support and Engineering. Prepare post site reports, time sheets and expenses after site visits. Support quotation work by providing scope of work, initial planning and costing information. Promote Technical Support value add and support Technical Support Teams. Support warranty process and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) where applicable.

ABOUT YOU:

A Mechanical trade qualification from college or technical school; OR three to six years related experience/training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience must include at least two years from either mining, aggregate or contract crushing. Experience with the maintenance of vibrating screens and crushers. Basic computer literacy in MS Office – Word and Excel. Must have current motor vehicle license and passport. Must be physically fit and be able to pass random medical and drug tests as well as a preemployment medical. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent negotiation and presentation skills. Ability to travel within short notice. Ability to work across weekends as required. Screen installation and commissioning testing experience. Experience in the usage of databases and MS Project. You will already be based in Australia with full working rights.
