What You'll Do

• Collect and prepare blood samples using skin puncture and venipuncture techniques
• Verify patient information, label specimens, and match laboratory requisitions
• Assist in performing designated laboratory tests under supervision
• Maintain laboratory equipment and records in compliance with accreditation standards
• Ensure sterile technique in organizing blood-drawing trays and handling specimens
• Adhere to infection control and hazardous waste policies
• Support laboratory workflow to ensure timely processing of specimens

What You Need

• Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) certification or license
• Prior experience in a clinical laboratory setting
• Knowledge of specimen collection and processing protocols
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Experience with laboratory information systems
