Key Responsibilities of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Travel

• Provide attentive and compassionate care to patients and their family members
• Manage patient care with a patient ratio of 2:1, and adjusting as necessary based on acuity
• Collaborate with unit staff including unit secretaries and occasional nurse externs
• Perform procedures including insertion of central lines, arterial lines, lumbar punctures, and chest tube insertions
• Utilize and maintain unit equipment such as ventilators, EVDs, CRRT, and SLED

Requirements of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Travel

• Active RN license
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• ICU experience
