What You'll Do

As a Patient Care Coordinator, you'll be the first point of contact for our patients and play an essential role in ensuring each visit runs smoothly.

Responsibilities include:

• Welcome patients with warmth, professionalism, and compassion.
• Schedule new and established patient appointments while optimizing provider schedules.
• Register patients and maintain accurate demographic and insurance information.
• Verify insurance coverage and obtain required documentation.
• Collect patient copays, balances, and other applicable payments.
• Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with questions or direct them to the appropriate department.
• Coordinate with providers, nurses, financial counselors, and laboratory staff to ensure seamless patient care.
• Keep providers informed of patient arrivals, delays, and schedule changes throughout the day.
• Process incoming documents and maintain accurate electronic medical records.
• Assist with patient flow and front desk operations to provide an outstanding patient experience.
• Support additional administrative and operational duties as assigned.
