Optometric Technician

Key Responsibilities Greet and prepare patients for examinations Obtain and document patient medical and ocular histories Perform preliminary tests (visual acuity, lensometry, tonometry, autorefractor, visual fields, etc.) Assist the doctor during examinations as needed Educate patients on contact lens use, care, and insertion/removal Maintain and clean exam rooms and equipment Manage patient flow to ensure timely appointments Support front desk duties as needed (scheduling, check-in/out, insurance verification) Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience in optometry or healthcare preferred (but willing to train the right candidate) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Basic computer proficiency #J-18808-Ljbffr
