Conduct assessments on patients across pediatric, adult, and geriatric groups utilizing standardized tests and observational insights.
Create tailor-made therapy plans aimed at achieving both immediate and long-term communication and swallowing goals.
Engage in individualized speech therapy sessions focused on language, fluency, voice quality, and swallowing challenges.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and family members to ensure unified patient care.
Provide education to patients and families, equipping them to support progress outside of clinic hours.
Occasionally perform inpatient evaluations and therapy sessions, ensuring continuous quality care throughout each patient's journey.
Maintain meticulous documentation according to state and organizational guidelines.
Stay informed on industry advancements through professional development and peer interactions.
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) prior to obtaining ASHA certification, if applicable.
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required to be obtained within 30 days of employment.
Expertise in evidence-based treatment methods catering to various age groups, alongside a robust comprehension of developmental and acquired communication disorders.
