Job Opportunity: Full-Time Gastroenterologist
Our organization is actively seeking a dedicated Gastroenterologist to join our esteemed Division of Gastroenterology. While a primary focus on General GI is preferred, we are open to candidates with additional specialized skills.
Key Responsibilities- Primarily engage in outpatient clinical duties, with responsibilities shared between the clinic and endoscopy at both the hospital and ambulatory surgery center.
- Participate actively in the education of fellows, residents, and students.
- Receive mentorship and designated time for professional development.
The Division comprises 18 physicians and 4 advanced practice providers, specializing in areas such as therapeutic endoscopy, hepatology, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), motility, and genetics.
Teaching and CollaborationThis role will primarily be based at the University location, where you will have the opportunity to teach fellows and residents. Our faculty includes nationally recognized experts in hepatology, therapeutic endoscopy, and IBD, fostering a collegial environment focused on patient care and education.
Faculty members within the Department of Medicine are encouraged to pursue academic interests through teaching and research, as well as provide care to underserved populations via partnerships with local health systems. Compensation and BenefitsThe starting base salary for this position ranges from $450,000 to $525,000, depending on years of experience and faculty rank. This figure does not include variable compensation or additional productivity incentives and is subject to departmental compensation plans. Further details regarding compensation will be discussed during the recruitment process.
