About the Position

Locums Critical Care Physician Assistant near New Orleans, Louisiana - No Call, Transplant Focus

Join a high-acuity CTICU environment caring for heart and lung transplant patients with flexible PRN day-shift coverage and no call responsibilities.

Practice & Cases:

• Inpatient cardiac critical care setting
• Heart and lung transplant, ECMO, and ventilator management patients
• Manage approximately 8-10 ICU patients per shift
• Perform central lines and other bedside critical care procedures

Schedule:

• 12-hour onsite day shifts
• PRN coverage model with recurring shift opportunities
• Daytime schedule from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm
• No call responsibilities

Requirements:

• Must be a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Active Louisiana license required
• ACLS, BLS, and DEA required
• Experience with critical care procedures and line placement required

Logistics:

• Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage are covered
• Travel accommodations arranged for scheduled coverage blocks
