Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services across multiple units including NICU (Level IIB), MICU, PACU, ER, Peds, Adults, and Geriatrics
• Perform arterial blood gases (ABGs) via radial or brachial approach and administer all respiratory treatments
• Manage and operate respiratory equipment including ventilators and high-flow therapy devices
• Assist with intubation procedures and initiate CPAP as needed, including attendance at deliveries in the NICU setting
• Conduct overnight oximetry and provide coverage across all inpatient floors and the emergency department
• Float between specialties including ICU, MICU, Med-Surg Telemetry, and ER; may be asked to float to sister facilities within the region

Required Qualifications

• Active RRT credential required (CRT not accepted)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• NRP certification required for NICU coverage
• Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Must be proficient and comfortable working with Adults, Pediatrics, and NICU populations
• Ability to float between all specialty areas including ICU, MICU, Med-Surg Telemetry, and ER

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Level II NICU setting with comfort attending deliveries and initiating CPAP
• Familiarity with respiratory equipment such as Drager V500, Hamilton, ReVel, V60, Vapotherm, and EPOC
• Experience working in a high-volume environment managing approximately 25–28 treatments per 8-hour shift
