Residential Journeyman ElectricianRoyal Oak Heating, Cooling, Electrical & Plumbing is seeking an experienced, licensed Residential Journeyman Electrician to join our growing electrical department. This position is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining residential electrical systems while delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated professional who takes pride in quality workmanship, safety, and building long-term customer relationships.Primary ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and troubleshoot residential electrical issues.Install, repair, and replace: Electrical panelsCircuit breakersWiring and outletsSwitches and receptaclesIndoor and outdoor lightingCeiling fansSmoke and CO detectorsWhole-home surge protectionEV chargersStandby generatorsDedicated circuitsPerform electrical safety inspections.Explain repair options and recommendations to homeowners.Complete installations in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and all local codes.Maintain accurate job notes, invoices, and photos using ServiceTitan or company software.Communicate effectively with dispatch, office staff, and management.Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle and inventory.Mentor apprentices when assigned.Participate in weekly training and safety meetings.Represent the company professionally in every customer interaction.
