Department Manager

Responsibilities Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience on each visit. Some managers also lead Departments. These managers’ responsibilities may include managing assigned Systems—such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management—setting goals, delegating tasks to their teams, following up, and reporting results back to their team and other managers. The Guest Service Department Manager ensures that Crew and Managers deliver a great customer experience, that sales promotions are executed properly, that all service staff are trained in service procedures, and that the Front Counter, McCafé, and Drive‑Thru areas are organized for optimal service. The Kitchen Department Manager is responsible for ensuring the restaurant delivers high‑quality food quickly, that food is always safe, that food cost is controlled, and that all kitchen staff are trained in production procedures, including new menu items. The People Department Manager ensures the restaurant hires qualified crew, provides effective training, and schedules staff to meet sales and profit goals. This manager also seeks to give Crew a strong start at the restaurant and to recognize and motivate them throughout their employment. Qualifications Previous managerial experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment. Candidates should be positive team players, flexible with schedules, enthusiastic, and capable of thriving in a high‑energy, fast‑paced environment. You must be 18 years or older to manage in our corporate‑owned restaurants.
