Position Overview

In this role, you will help provide the exceptional customer experience that keeps our agency moving forward. You will work directly with customers to answer questions, assist with policy needs, resolve concerns, and make sure they receive prompt and accurate service.
We are looking for someone who communicates well, pays attention to detail, stays calm under pressure, and enjoys building relationships. Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers and follow up as needed.
• Provide prompt, accurate, professional, and friendly customer service.
• Respond to customer questions regarding insurance coverage, eligibility, billing, policy changes, transfers, claims submissions, and other service needs.
• Conduct customer-focused, needs-based conversations to help customers better understand their insurance options.
• Assist customers with Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance products.
• Identify opportunities to help existing customers with additional products or services that may meet their needs.
• Maintain accurate customer and policy information.
• Coordinate with other agency team members to resolve customer concerns efficiently.
• Follow up with customers regarding outstanding service requests and policy needs.
• Contribute to agency retention, customer satisfaction, and overall growth.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality when handling customer information.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Insurance agency or State Farm experience is a plus.
• Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance licenses preferred; candidates who are not currently licensed must be willing and able to obtain the required licenses.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Comfortable learning and using computer systems and agency technology.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-stress situations.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Sales-minded candidates who are comfortable identifying additional customer needs are encouraged to apply.

Compensation
$20.00–$25.00 per hour , based on experience, licensing, and qualifications.
Additional performance-based bonus opportunities may be available.

Schedule

• Full-time
• Approximately 40 hours per week
  Consistent agency schedule with flexibility based on business needs
