Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg Tele

Registered Nurse – MS/Tele

12-hour night shifts, 3x per week (18:45 - 07:15). Block schedules available.

Contract length accepted is 13 weeks or longer. Guaranteed hours for the assignment can be 36 or 48 hours per week.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of orthopedic nursing experience required.
• Experience with IV start and telemetry is necessary.
• Certifications: BCLS, NIH; ACLS preferred.
• First-time travelers accepted if they have EPIC experience.
• Travelers may be required to float to other med-surg units as needed.
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start for this specialty.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to orthopedic, neuro spine, and post-surgical patients.
• Manage patient pain effectively and monitor vital signs.
• Ensure compliance with patient care protocols and safety standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members for optimal patient outcomes.
• Assist in patient education and discharge planning.

Compliance / Notes

Cannot approve any holiday RTO. Maximum of 7 days RTO for auto-offer. Weekend shifts required every other weekend, with a policy for makeup shifts if calls occur.
