Investment Banker / Fundraising Advisor - SAFE / Pre-Series A

Gravity is seeking a USA-based Investment Banker / Fundraising Advisor to support the SAFE / Pre-Series A fundraising process for OpenTalent.in, a live AI talent hiring platform focused on remote hiring for US companies and AI / technology talent demand from Indian Global Capability Centers.

OpenTalent.in is already live with approximately 25,000 candidates. Gravity has also built Polluxa CRM as a customer outreach and sales layer, and Gravityer.com is using OpenTalent to fulfil technology delivery needs. The platform is positioned as a premium AI talent network for cross-border hiring, combining vetted talent supply, CRM-led enterprise outreach, and fulfilment proof.

This is a USA-market fundraising role. The ideal candidate should have active access to US angel syndicates, seed funds, family offices, strategic investors, HR-tech investors, AI investors, or staffing / workforce technology investors.

What You Will Do

• Build and manage a targeted US investor outreach process for OpenTalent.in's SAFE / Pre-Series A raise.
• Identify relevant investors across HR tech, AI, SaaS, staffing tech, talent marketplaces, seed funds, angel syndicates, family offices, and strategic acquirers.
• Help refine the investor story, valuation narrative, pitch deck, financial model, use of funds, SAFE terms, and data-room materials.
• Create warm-introduction pathways and directly support investor outreach, follow-ups, meetings, diligence, and closing coordination.
• Advise Gravity on round structure, investor fit, valuation cap, discount, allocation strategy, and investor objections.
• Support founder pitch preparation and help convert investor interest into term-sheet or SAFE commitment discussions.

What We Are Looking For

• Strong US investor network with practical access to early-stage capital.
• Prior experience raising capital for SaaS, HR tech, AI, marketplace, staffing, workforce technology, or cross-border technology companies.
• Understanding of SAFE rounds, seed fundraising, Pre-Series A positioning, valuation caps, discounts, and investor diligence.
• Ability to position an India-origin company for the USA market with a credible global hiring and AI talent narrative.
• Hands-on operating style: able to build investor lists, make introductions, manage pipeline discipline, and drive weekly progress.
• Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with founders, investors, lawyers, and strategic partners.

Preferred Background

• Investment banking, boutique advisory, venture advisory, private placement, corporate development, or venture capital background.
• Prior fundraising mandates in seed, SAFE, Pre-Series A, or early growth rounds.
• Experience with HR tech, recruitment technology, talent marketplaces, AI services, staffing platforms, or B2B SaaS.
• Existing relationships with US-based funds, angel syndicates, family offices, strategic investors, and operator-investors.
• Familiarity with India-US cross-border business models and Global Capability Center talent demand.

Engagement And Compensation

This may be structured as a mandate-based advisory engagement, fractional investment banking role, or success-driven fundraising advisory role. Compensation may include a modest retainer, success fee, advisory equity, or a blended structure depending on experience, network quality, time commitment, and applicable legal / regulatory requirements.

Any transaction-based compensation, success fee, or securities-related activity will be subject to appropriate legal, regulatory, and compliance review.
