Repair Technician

Job Title

Job Responsibilities

• Performs the set-up, calibration, testing, and moderately complex troubleshooting of complex circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.
• Follows test process instructions (TPI).
• May perform other tasks including but not limited to unpacking, packaging, moving servers or racks, placing labels, and crating.
• May rework assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing.
• Any additional assigned tasks.

Job Skills

• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively work in a team environment.
• Effectively communicate and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing documentation.
• Knowledge of basic office applications, i.e. word processors, spreadsheets, and databases.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of computer hardware.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues or failures and communicate findings in written form.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to regularly lift, push, and/or move up to 50lbs.
• Ability to stand for a prolonged period.
• Ability to work on ladders.

Education & Experience

Typically requires 1-2 years of related experience.

AS Computer Science and/or equivalent experience in a related field.
