Join us and, together, we’ll advance your career.THE ROLE:Join AMD's Data Center and AI infrastructure organization and help shape the supply chain strategy behind the thermal technologies that power next-generation computing platforms. In this leadership role, you will guide a team responsible for the supply chain strategy, supplier ecosystem, and operational readiness of critical thermal hardware, including fans, heatsinks, cold plates, liquid cooling manifolds, quick disconnects, and Coolant Distribution Units (CDUs).Working closely with engineering, procurement, operations, suppliers, and manufacturing partners, you will help ensure AMD's thermal solutions are scalable, resilient, and aligned with future AI and high-performance computing platform needs. You bring strong communication skills, sound judgment, and a passion for continuous improvement.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop and execute supply chain strategies for thermal hardware supporting AMD's AI and data center platforms.Build and maintain a resilient supplier ecosystem that supports product development and production objectives.Partner with engineering teams to improve manufacturability, scalability, cost optimization, and supply continuity.Lead supplier qualification, sourcing diversification, capacity planning, and risk mitigation initiatives.Drive demand planning, inventory strategies, and operational readiness throughout the product lifecycle.Monitor supply chain performance and provide insights, recommendations, and risk assessments to stakeholders.Develop, coach, and support a team of supply chain professionals while fostering collaboration, accountability, and growth.Represent thermal supply chain priorities across cross-functional program reviews and business planning activities.PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:Experience developing supply chain strategies for hardware, manufacturing, semiconductor, electromechanical, or technology-focused environments.Knowledge of thermal management technologies, including air-cooled and liquid-cooled solutions.Experience working with suppliers, manufacturers, and cross-functional stakeholders to support product development and production.Familiarity with supply planning, demand forecasting, inventory management, sourcing, and risk mitigation practices.Experience supporting new product introduction and production ramp activities.Understanding of manufacturing processes, cost optimization strategies, and supply chain scalability.Experience leading, coaching, or mentoring teams and contributing to organizational development.Ability to communicate effectively with technical and business audiences.Knowledge of data center, AI, cloud infrastructure, or high-performance computing technologies is beneficial.ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:Bachelor's degree desired in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Operations, Manufacturing, or a related field.Advanced degree desired in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, or a related discipline.Professional certifications related to Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, Project Management, or Manufacturing are beneficial.LOCATION:Austin, TXThis role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.#LI-AJ1Benefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.AMD does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services.
